Transmission of financial statements

Section 107.9 of the Cities and Towns Act specifies that any legal person receiving an annual subsidy of at least $100,000 is required to have its financial statements audited and the auditor shall transmit to the chief auditor a copy of the annual financial statements, a report on the statements and any other report summarizing the auditor’s findings and recommendations to the board of directors or the officers of the legal person.
